Our  mission is to equip the believers of the First Haitian Baptist Church of Kissimmee with the necessary knowledge of the word of God, so they can develop an intimate personal relationship with Jesus Christ to strengthen their faith, serve the local church, and the surrounding communities. We strive to teach the Gospel in the same way that Jesus Christ taught it to his disciples and in doing so everyone who has listened will have had the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

We Believe:

1. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
2. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
3. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary.  That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead.  That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor.
4. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
5. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth, are received by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
6. We believe in Sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit.
7. Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
8. In the baptism and the receiving of the Holy Spirit, on the day of our conversion.
9. We believe in the speaking in tongue as prompted by the Holy Spirit.
10. We believe that water baptism is by immersion and immersion only in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
11. We believe in divine healing provided by God according to His sovereignty.
12. We believe in the Lord Supper as memorial to the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
13. We believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus.  First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to gather the living saints to Him in the air; second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
14. We believe in eternal life for the righteous living with Christ, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
15. We believe that God creates each person as male or female in the image and nature of God and rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.  (Gen. 1:26-27)
16. We believe that the term “marriage” has one meaning: the joining of one man and one woman in a single exclusive union as stated in the Holy Bible (Gen. 2:18-25) and that sexual intimacy should only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Cor. 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb. 13:4).

These are our beliefs in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Déclaration de mission A cause de notre amour pour Dieu et les autres, nous luttons afin d’ equiper les croyants de notre église, pour qu’ ils puissent en retour étendre leur service à la communauté haïtienne de Kissimmee et ailleurs, en présentant à qui veut l’ entendre, la bonne nouvelle de Jesus-Christ, et de donner à tout un chacun, l’ opportunite de devenir des disciples dévoués pour Christ.

Doctrines fondamentales de l’ église (French)

La Première Eglise Baptiste Haïtienne de Kissimmee est affiliée avec l’ association Baptiste du sud (Southern Baptist Association). Elle est dirigée par le pasteur Louis W. Lubin.

L’ église accepte et croit dans les doctrines de base de la Bible.

Dieu: Nous croyons qu’ il y a un seul et vrai Dieu, créateur de l’ univers et du genre humain. Il est un Dieu personnel qui support tout, préserve tout et qui est contrôle de l’ univers qu’ il a créé. Il est omniscient, omniprésent et omnipotent. L’ homme lui droit honneur, majesté et louange car il est le souverain de la terre.

Le salut: Le salut inclus la Rédemption de l’ homme, il est offert gratuitement à tous ceux qui mettent leur confiance en Jésus-Christ et qui accepte son oeuvre expiatoire sur le calvaire.

Jésus-Christ: Nous croyons que Jésus-Christ est le fils de Dieu, le premier -né de la création. Il est le Dieu véritable qui s’ est fait homme et a habité parmi les hommes, Dieu était en Christ, réconciliant le monde avec lui-même.

Ordonnances: Il n’ y a que deux: le baptême et la Sainte Cène. Nous croyons dans le baptême par immersion au nom du Père, du fils et du Saint- Esprit parce que La Bible ne nous donne aucune autre forme de baptême que l’ immersion.

La Sainte Cène: La Sainte Cène est un acte symbolique de l’ obéissance du chrétien à son Seigneur. Le pain symbolise le corps brisé de Jésus sur la croix, le vin symbolise son sang versé pour les péchés des hommes. A chaque fois que nous y participons, nous rappelons sa mort jusqu’ à ce qu’ il revienne.

Le salut éternel: Nous croyons fermement que le salut une fois reçu de Dieu par Jésus-Christ ne peut se perdre. Plusieurs passages biblique affirment cette certitude: Jn. 5:24; 6:37,47; 10: 27-30;Ro. 8:38,39; Phi. 1:6.

L’ élément principal de cette doctrine, c’ est être sûr que vous êtes né de nouveau. Le chrétien né de nouveau est celui qui persévère jusqu’ à la fin.

La trinité: Nous croyons dans la doctrine de la trinité: Un seul Dieu en trois personnes
